I’m Kirsten, a licensed massage therapist and yoga teacher. I’ve been teaching yoga for 13 years, and working as a massage therapist for 7 years.
My first introduction to yoga was finding a stack of old books and manuals that offered me a glimpse into a system of practice that resonated with me deeply. Home practice and self study brought me to a 200 hour foundational training with Diane Kovanda and Kind Yoga School in 2011.
In 2016 I completed a 300 hour training in Embodyoga with developer Patty Townsend. I went on to complete a 90 hour prenatal teacher training in 2017 with Corrine Andrews, owner of Yoga Center Amherst and developer of Birthing Mama, an online program for prenatal yoga and wellness.
As a yoga teacher, I encourage students to find inquire into their body and their breath, and to take those messages off the mat and into the day.
I attended Spa Tech Institute of Massage Therapy and became a 650 hour Licensed Massage Therapist in 2017. Through therapeutic touch, I aspire to provide a space for people to reconnect to their wholeness and wellbeing.
